We are proud and very excited to announce that as of January 2008, Room 2 Room Organizing has added Feng Shui to its list of services that we offer for your home, office or classroom.

After studying and completing my Feng Shui course with Canada’s leading Feng Shui experts, Katherine & Russ Loader, owners of Power of Place, I have now received my certification as a Feng Shui Consultant. I am very excited to be able to add this knowledge and experience to further assist my clients to get their clutter under control and their lives back on track through a combination of Feng Shui principles and hands-on organizing.

Feng Shui translates to “wind and water” and was developed in China over 4000 years ago.  This ancient art is all about the relationship between humans and their environment – how our spaces are hindering our growth or helping us thrive. Since the 1980’s westerners have begun to embrace and use Feng Shui principles in their homes and offices realizing that it can definitely be of great benefit to their health, wealth, and happiness.

The goal of Feng Shui is simple—to help bring harmony and balance into one’s living or working space by first attracting the flow of positive Chi (energy) into a space and then applying cures and remedies that will help maintain this flow throughout the space. This can be achieved several different ways: by performing a clearing to remove stale, stagnant energy, in addition to a blessing in all nine areas of the Bagua, adding the five elements of nature, rearrangement of furniture and accessories, adding colour, plus additional suggestions on how to enhance the overall design of your home. The nine areas of your life that I can help you make positive changes in are: career, knowledge, family, health, wealth, fame, relationship, children and creativity, and helpful people and support.

Dealing with the clutter and getting organized in your home and office are a big part of what Feng Shui is about. Chi (energy) that is stale or stagnate can have a huge detrimental affect on your life in so many ways just the same as clutter can. When the clutter is removed, the Chi is allowed to move freely and you will be amazed how much of a positive impact it will have on your life, allowing all good things to simply flow into your home and into your life!
